NEW BAKERY

You will doubtless be aware that after many, many years of trading, Vanes Bakery is closing 31 March 2026. The Trustees of the Hall have been investigating many options to try and devise a replacement Bakery service for the Farmers’ Market.

We are very pleased to say, COMMENCING TUESDAY 7TH APRIL our bakery stall will be supplied by Kent Bakery, London Road, Dover. I am also delighted to say that our wonderful volunteer, Ruth, will continue to take orders and staff the table.

Capel Village Hall is set in the attractive village of Capel le Ferne, perched high on the White Cliffs of Dover. The village is also home to the Battle of Britain memorial.

Our hall hosts the local Farmers Market, youth club and various other activities including badminton, bowls and judo. Outside there is a childrens playground, a petanque pitch, a zipwire, an outside gym and a skateboard park.

Our well maintained hall has two halls in differing sizes for a variety of events. Refurbished to modern standards, the hall has a well equipped kitchen, disabled facilities, projection screen and a stage.
